Would not recommend. Had my wedding here in 2011. The price is lower than other places but you end up paying for it in the long run. We ended up with a "room charge" that the owner (Louie) quickly skipped over when we originally made the reservation. He also PROMISED to have whatever colors we wanted for napkins... the place didn't seem interested in getting any "specifics" until the week of the wedding and they did not have the fuchsia colors they promised... just a baby pink. Had I known ahead of time I could have at least ordered my own but instead I had to have light pink napkins that did not match. That's small potatoes though compared to what happened at our reception. The party next door's DJ had the music so loud you could hardly hear my dinner music and all you could hear through the first dance, daddy/daughter dance, etc was Petey Pablo and Flo-Rida (I'm Not playing). I noticed how loud it was when guests began complaining and Louie promised me it would not be an issue. Promised that the walls were soundproof... blah blah blah. It's BS. The guests from the other party hear OUR guests complaining and it went back and forth and eventually ended up in a brawl in the middle of my wedding. My dad had his arm bruised for the whole week following... The other party was sent home and police sat outside the remainder of my reception. Really nice. (I should have taken this as a sign that my marriage was a bad idea.lol) If you are having an event and taking all the preparation into your own hands, the price is ok. But don't rely on this company to be honest OR deliver any extra special service. Basic prices for Bottom level service. The only extra star was for the fact that the place isn't a dump or anything and that I liked how we had our own separate bathrooms for each "room". OH, and if you pay anything with a credit card they ad a percentage fee. So you have to drive in and drop off cash every payment. -- Edited to add: If you are considering this venue, consider not only my review but do yourself a favor and read the 5 + "filtered" reviews listed below the ones here. All seem to have different issues and one continuous problem - lies and horrible management. There have been stories on the news featured since my wedding about this place and it's "policies". Regardless of what price you are promised - do your research.

My sister booked this hall because a friend had mentioned them. I don't know why anyone would recommend this place. She was concerned after reading some of the reviews but there was nothing that could be done about it after the contract was signed. We tried our best to stay top of them but they really defied reality in how poorly they run their business. They switched things without notice, they were understaffed, they didn't stock the bar, the food was cold and 3 hours late, and there was no a.c. Someone saw the owner in the kitchen cooking without his shirt on. GROSS!

NO STARS Are they serious? They completely ripped us off and don't care who's event they destroy. Their only concern is themselves and all their BS. If you go there plan on getting Ms Nasty and Ms Rude and reheated food from yesterday. Ya, and Louie brags about it. .. that's why they take the food up so quickly. Check out their LLC and filthy kitchen violations. What a joke . . . ease your mind, go elsewhere. These people should NOT be in business.

Doesn't even deserve one star. The food looked re-served and most of us refused to eat it. The owner Lou was totally inappropriate at this wedding reception I attended. He dipped his cup into the chafing dish of corn and starting eating i infront of the bridal party. You can't make this stuff up.! I noticed the service was awful...no coffee served and the wait staff was removing the clean coffee cups. After being told they were out of coffee I immediately reached out to Christina the co-owner who was there running the event .She kicked Lou out for bad behavior. She said her temp employees were out of control. ..I went into the kitchen with her and.... oh my God...it was so disgusting . I told her I was so happy I didn't eat a thing. THE SAD STORY IS THAT SHE AGREED WITH ME ! THEY NEED TO BE CLOSED. THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT WAS CALLED AND THE CITY COUNCIL WAS INFORMED.

Recently attended a wedding here and the service is awful. The venue was great but the people who run it are absolutely terrible. The woman who was acting as a greeter and her son who was bar tending, were drunk or high from the very beginning of the night. We found fruit flies in our drinks and were told it's normal and everyone has fruit flies this time of year. The woman kept using her bare hands to put ice in our drinks. Half the time the bartenders would disappear and were no where to be found. By the end of the night the woman was behind the bar and could barely stand, talking to the guests with her eyes closed. She had a bad attitude and was rude to the bridal party when we asked her to make us a shot and she gave us glasses full of vodka by itself no mixer just a glass of vodka! It's a shame that this place could be nice but the staff are beyond awful.

This place is worth ZERO stars!! From the horrible wait staff to the horrible management/owners! I attended a family bridal shower on Sunday March 29, 2015 and from the minute I walked in the front door it was a disaster! The chair covers were filthy dirty and when I brought it to the attention of the only TWO servers for a 80 person shower (manager wasn't in yet!) I was told "yeah we know, SO!" Seriously! This is how you talk to your guest? We asked several times for the Mimosa's to be served and we got NO response! Our guest were suppose to be greeted with Mimosas as we had paid for! They ran out of food! No coffee was served we had to ask repeatedly! Finally a woman manager showed up and was snappy and rude. At the end of this horrible experience the "owner showed up." At this point he did NOTHING!! Now I understand why he made us pay in full before event. Stay clear of this place!! Don't make the mistake we did!! You DON'T get what you pay for here!! The WORST!!

Everything started off great as far going over the contract, price and add ins. Then a week before the wedding the owner (Louie) began to call requesting an additional $1000 because he supposedly forgot to add tax and gratuity, even though the contract said otherwise. After going back and forth then he would say not to worry about it and he'd pay the money "out of his pocket." However this was an everyday thing (the man is obviously bipolar). The day before the wedding, he called on his regular money mission and said that if we did not bring the money that day not to show up for the wedding. Then as usual he called apologizing saying that it was fine and not to worry about it. Everything with the ceremony went well! Then of course at the end of the ceremony to ruin the brides day he brings up the money issue. I still don't understand how you can request more money when you wrote a grand total on the contract. He also admitted his sister made a mistake (which I have recorded) however he still wanted us to pay for it. I will never be using this hall again for anything. Beautiful ceremony but the hassle during such an important day is never worth it.

DO NOT GO HERE IT IS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME!!!!! The owner Louie is the biggest bull crap talker I have ever met, he should not be a owner. He promised me for my bridal shower a certain banquet room and certain food and when we showed up my shower was in a different room that we have never seen and I was pissed. I was also pissed because the room was separate from the other rooms and in a different building so my guests were told to go outside and check there coats in the main lobby mind you the weather was about 30 degrees, which is not fair. Then I was told the coat room in my banquet room was being used as a storage closet and they would try to clean it. They finally cleaned it after some huffs and puffs from the two workers and then I was told they wouldn't charge me for the coat check. No one was gonna work the coat check why would they charge me? I was so mad. Then Louie comes in the hall because my mom wanted to talk to him because of everything and he comes in and tells her he can't give her anything back because it was to late. Then said he was going to add cheese, crackers, pasta salad, wine and NEVER did that, to be honest I didn't want any of that I wanted money back because what my mom paid for was not justified by what they presented us with, this place is a rip off with horrible customer service. Also they cut my cake then said they threw away 1/4 of it when my mom asked them to wrap it up, they had 2 workers come in my hall and make plates of food for themselves, the shower started at 12:30 and they did not have drinks set up till 1! My guests were thirsty then they had to drink out of teeny plastic cups because the worker told me that they don't use glasses in the room I had because they barely use it. There was one bathroom for 60 ladies......I mean the list goes on and on. Just STAY AWAY!!!

The first thing you will notice is that the parking is located in the back but the entrance is in the front. Not really good if the person you are bring is handicapped. You can use the driveway but people park there and do not move. I had to drive on the sidewalk to get out. The second thing you will notice is that there is a big room divider in your room (not really a wall). Warning: all the sound from the wedding, funeral, dance party next door goes right thru. The third thing you will notice is that they do not heat the rooms and the cold air comes right in because you are right next to the front door. Now lets talk about food and drink. The bar was seemingly well stocked and tended by a very nice young girl - this is where you get your 1 star rating. The food was 2 hours late. We had a salad which was ok, and rolls that they obviously did not make because they were edible. The spaghetti? Well there were 2 hotel pans with chaffers and I was told one pan was a meat sauce and one was a marinara but I could not tell the difference. They looked and tasted like pasta made with ketchup but it also had a weird hot/spicy element to it, ok maybe it was ketchup and Franks red hot sauce. It was runny and looked like spaghetti-o's. Yuck. They served this concoction on Styrofoam plates. Then the dishes and glasses were left to sit on the tables well past necessary. It was so bad that the guests started cleaning up and looking for trash bins (but there weren't any). That's when I complained and then 2 16 year old girls came out with 1 bus tub to pick it all up. Then the "chef" came out to unceremoniously take down the buffet tables while the event was still going on. A woman (manager?) then came in to pick up trash with her hands, again while the event was still on going. I would not book my cats birthday party at this place. Just awful.

This is an older banquet facility lying in south St. Clair Shores and bordering up to Grosse Pointe. It holds about 400 people all together. Decent size facility with newly remodeled bathrooms. Nice big dance floor for those who like to get down! Food is okay...don't know if they are really known for any specific type, but we had the basics. Salad, veggie & cheese tray, bread, pasta with a red meat sauce, red potatoes, green beans with almonds (previously frozen), chicken picatta (way to much breading), and ham slices with pineapple. Everyone said the food was pretty good, all I tried was the salad, veggies, and a red potato and it did the trick. Excited to back for a cousins wedding and check out a bigger set up!

Amy, Caroline, our bartended and the entire wait staff and prep crew where outstanding. This is Events To Remembers third event at this venue. I've worked with Louie the owner twice personally and he was accommodating in each instance. His goal like ours is the meet the needs of the client based on the agreed upon contract. Please always read you contract carefully, if there are items you don not understand or that you are uncomfortable with come meet with a event planner who can help you make sure that you will get the vision of your day. Can't wait to see you all next time, keep up the good work!
